Great flavor! Great service! Nice clean atmosphere. Definitely recommend the 1/2 oil chicken! Beef satay was delicious too. Fair prices. Fully recommend for Hong Kong food.

Luna L

Amazing service and food. I asked for advice if the menu, My waiter told me the egg noodles are made in house. I tried this signature noodle, it’s fresh and chewy, very delicious and so different from supermarket noodles. Much better environment and service than regular Asian restaurants. Highly recommended.

Son Nguyen

Amazing food, friendly service. It's good for sharing with friends and family. I and 2 friends ordered 3 dishes. We love all of them. But too full to finish. I will come back on next trip to Houston

Christopher Roza

Awesome food, been here a few times and am never disappointed, staff are always attentive and the atmosphere is great! The cucumber salad is a definite to go on my visit as are the green beans. If you like fried foods the salt pepper fish and fried chicken cubes are great!

Everly Saudale

Food is tasty. Red chilli dumpling, fried rice, and sichuan spicy salt and pepper prawn.

Let's Eat Houston

I ordered take out so it's hard to fully assess the quality of the food and restaurant. However, the fried fish I ordered was still very delicious and numbingly spicy! Definitely has enticed me to come and dine-in sometimes and try some other popular dishes on the menu.

Edward Thorn

Food is always fantastic. Delivery is great, dine in is even better because of the service. Always consistently good, and Ming is great! Try the cumin lamb or the golden soup

Cute little spot. The staff was nice and the service was quick. I got the General Tso’s chicken, an egg roll, and fried rice. The food was really tasty and fresh. The fried rice was my favorite !!!

Annette Goh

Portion is good. Taste great. Only lack of safety packaging for delivery where the food was all packed in a little plastic bag and exposed. The bag has no seal or stapled to prevent contamination.

Hernan Flores

Great food. Rice box is always one my go tos. This particular location is pretty small and really just a Togo place. My order did take a while but its always worth it because it delicious.

Leminal

Chinese take out but not so Americanized. 5/5 for flavors and texture. Perfect chongqing chicken if you’re a spice lover. The chow fun was very yummy. The takeout was ready quickly. Good experience overall!

Excellent place- loved the interior decoration and vibe! It’s vegetarian friendly. They made us custom veggie sushi rolls (mango/jalapeño/cream cheese and tempura sweet potato and onion). Delicious! We enjoyed the green beans and veggie dumplings as appetizers. Staff is attentative and wait time was less than 10min on a Friday night. Would return again!

For a restaurant whose specialty is dumplings, there are a couple of dishes that are the barometer for quality. One of course is their dumplings. The other is the beef noodle soup, a ubiquitous dish in this type of restaurants. Trendy passes both with flying colors.

Coach Jz

I recently dined at Trendy Dumpling, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was nothing short of amazing. The staff was not only friendly but also highly professional, making the overall dining experience a true delight. From start to finish, Trendy Dumpling delivered on taste, service, and ambiance. Tasty! Hand pulled noodles and dumplings is what we went to find and did we ever! Such a great variety of dumplings and bao. Noodles were very good in a thick sauce.

I was totally impressed by this strip mall restaurant. The food is outstanding. Must try the salt and pepper shrimp and the General Tso's Chicken. The fried rice was the best I've ever had. Friendly and attentive staff. A terrific dining experience!

Excellent family dinner styled Chinese restaurant. Each dish tastes authentic and unique, and they have plenty of options to choose from. I especially like the orange chicken and the eggplant dish. Good to go as a group as you get to try a lot of different dishes for a decent per-person price. They also offer dim sum during certain times of the day. Highly recommend.

Most of all, everything we tried was delicious! It all tasted very fresh and full of flavor. It is without any doubt the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. I also recommend the jasmine tea, which was full of flavor and had a wonderful aroma.

Leminal

Authentic Sichuan cuisine that delivers flavor every time. It’s usually busy whenever we dine in here, but there’s no wait. We ordered Beijing style pork, liver and kidney, dry fried intestine. All were excellent and delicious, especially organ meat, they did a great job!! I see us coming back to this place many more!

Great Chinese restaurant! Huge menu with a mix of Americanized and authentic dishes. Loved the flavor of Szechuan Lamb

Diamond on the outskirts of Downtown Houston. Just a block south of the Toyota Center. The food is cooked fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the Egg Rolls, Dumplings, Fried Rice and Lemon Chicken. The outside building is weathered but inside brings you into a little piece of China in Houston. They have a parking lot that's free if you dine in. The prices are a little high but reasonable for the "Downtown" area. Enjoy and Bon Appetit!!! 😋😋😋

Kevan Pewitt

The pan fried pork dumplings, egg rolls, Lemon Chicken, and the Hunan Shrimp were incredible here. We will definitely come back soon!

Toy Garland

The food was magnificent! Hand rolled home made egg rolls were fabulous! Kung Pao Chicken and Fried Rice is top notch! Chicken and Vegetables was delicious! Shrimp and Lobster Sauce rich and very filling! The dining room looks virtually unchanged through the years. Put it on your list of places to dine!

Alan Macha

The lemon chicken was tender and juicy. The best lemon chicken in Houston!! The homemade egg rolls are a must have with the duck sauce. Carol and Angie were amazing and very friendly, they treat you like family. If you want some amazing Chinese food from a place that does it right, then this place is a must.

Greg Williams

Service and food were great! The egg rolls and dishes we had were the best! The spicy chicken and the kung Pao chicken. Also the cheese puffs were delicious!

Tammy T

Line moves quick/efficient. They do have lunch specials/plates. Get a lot of food for the money. Some ppl say it's the best bbq in town... had to try it. The pork n ribs were a bit dry but not too bad in flavor. Wings were fried perfectly and seasoned well.

Jenny S

I love ordering take out here when I’m craving a home cooked meal and various slow cooked meats. Their crispy pork belly is amazing if you get there early enough. I recently tried their chili spice fried chicken wings. They were nice and crispy after some time in my air fryer. I’m on a mission to try their beef tripe next!

Diem Allis

Great fast food lunch plates and BBQ. Service is quick. Everything is take out but you can dine in on paper plates. They serve free hot tea and have a cooler of water and sodas. Prices are decent.

Shi Thompson

I love the atmosphere in here. I got the lunch special with the crispy pork and Peking duck and it was amazing. I got the Thai chili added and it was spicy but I can take spice. The flavor of the food is delicious and the portion size is going to hold me over for dinner as well.

K Cronan

Immediate impression was that this was going to be a great experience, and CG did not disappoint. It’s was clean and had a great vibe. The smells coming from the kitchen were mouth watering. We started with cheese puffs and they were some of the best I’ve had. I ordered fried noodle with chicken and my husband ordered house special fried noodle. These both were so good and so fresh tasting. I’ll admit I like spicy but their spice level is a little intense so have caution when ordering. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be coming back soon to try other things!

Hayley Hammitt

I ate here with three friends last night. We enjoyed the sesame chicken (it was extra crispy) and cheese puffs so much we ended up ordering seconds. The soup dumplings are amazing. The sauce includes fresh ginger pieces which add so much flavor to the dish. The inside is decorated cute and up to date. But the real winner of the Cooking Girl experience is the food.

Timothy Hampson

Tiny place. Super cute on the inside, chill vibes. Food is amazing. My friends and I typically do family style- our go to’s are spicy shrimp, orange chicken, cucumber salad, cream cheese puffs, Dan Dan noodles. Yum.Parking: Small, and street parking is hard too unfortunately.

Hannah MacMillan

Excellent service- quick and super friendly! I came in on a Friday night and was seated right away. The atmosphere is lovely with soft lounge music. The food was immaculate- I had chrysanthemum tea and hot boiled fish. Everything was extremely flavorful and fresh, with large portions and a really fair price in my opinion. If I lived around here I’d eat here all the time!!

Interesting Asian fusion. Texas-Asian fast casual. Food truck concept that grew up into a nice venue. If you ever wanted Texas BBQ brisket in your Asian food, this is the place for you. Great lunch spot or casual dinner. Friendly counter staff helped to walk though the menu. It was nice to get human sized water cups. The brisket curly fries were the favorite. We will be back to explore more of the menu. Decent parking lot size. The “secret” entrance to the Meo Bar is along the wall with the large murals of cats.

Marisol Ramos

😋 We shared a Brisket Pad Thai and Brisket Curly fries. Both were yummy. I'll definitely be back.

CJ Dandridge

The food is sooooooo good here. Usually I feel a lil suspicious when a restaurant has a big menu. But literally everything that we got was tasty and delicious. I have had good wonton soup with a rich broth in a while and I’m so happy I tried this place out. Recommend the wonton soup, beef with brócoli, egg rolls, and crab puffs.

Maria Munoz

Their Black peppered Chicken is soooo gooood and I also really liked their spring rolls as well. Our server Ricardo was very kind.
